Pentref bach yn nwyrain Ynys Mn yw Llanddona, tua tair milltir a hanner o dref Beaumaris.  Mae'r enw yn deillio o hanes Sant Dona, fu'n byw tua dechrau'r wythfed ganrif.  Adeiladwyd eglwys yma er cf am Sant Dona.

Mae golygfeydd hardd iawn yma - yn enwedig wrth edrych allan dros y mor.  Erbyn heddiw mae llawer o'r hen ffermdai a bythynod wedi dod yn dai haf.

Mae yma ysgol, eglwys, capel, neuadd bentref, swyddfa bost a thafarn. Tan yn ddiweddar iawn, roedd yma siop. Ar un adeg, roedd tair siop ym mhentref Llanddona

Mae mastiau radio a heddlu yn sefyll yn uchel uwchben y pentref ac maent i'w gweld yn glir o bell.

Llanddona is a small village on the east coast of Anglesey, about three and a half miles north west of the town of Beaumaris. The name Llanddona comes from the name of Saint Dona who lived at the beginning of the eighth century and after whom the church was named and built.

The surrounding scenery is very beautiful, with views far out to sea and many farm houses and cottages scattered around the village. By now, however, many of these houses and cottages have become second homes.

Here in Llanddona we have a village school,  church, chapel, village hall, post office and a pub.Until recently there was a village shop.  At one time Llanddona had three shops. The radio and police masts stand high above the village and can be clearly seen from a far distance.
