Mae pentref Llanrug ar lan Afon Seiont ar y gwaendir rhwng mynydd a môr. Saif
tua hanner ffordd rhwng yr Wyddfa ac Afon Menai wrth Gaernarfon.
I'r de o'r pentref gwelir ucheldir Cefn Du; i'r de-ddwyrain cwyd "yr Wyddfa
a'i chriw"; ac i'r dwyrain, y ddwy Elidir gyda thomennydd y chwarel llechi.

Llanrug village is on the banks of Afon Seiont on the heath between mountain and sea.
It stands about half-way between Snowdon and Afon Menai by Caernarfon.
To the south of the village is the rise of Cefn Du; to the south-east, Snowdon and its
neighbouring summits; with both  Elidir mountains and the waste-tips of the slate quarries.

Mae afon Seiont yn nodedig am frithyll,eogiaid,a gwyniadau.Ar ei glan ar gwr y pentref mae Deorfa Crawiau yn fagwrfa i bysgod i gyflenwi llynnoedd Arfon.

The Seiont river has a variety of fish .
