Let's start our journey down the most well known street in Llanrug - Station Road.

Station Road is the main bus rout through the village and for many years this was the main residential area in the village. Today many new residential estates have been built in the side streets leading off Station Road which have been very popular with first time buyers and young families. Corlan y Rhos , Nant y Glyn and Tal y Bont Howevour the terraced houses that run down Station Road are mainly traditional stone houses. Many were built in the boom period of the slate quarries in Llanberis, and have been renovated by new tennants during the 80s and 90s.

Mae siop gig Wavell a Siop gydweithredol y Co Op yn siopau poblogaidd iawn ac yn cynnig gwasanaeth unigryw personol i'r pentrefwyr. Many local shops and services are located on Station Road. Many provide a traditional personal service to local customers. Wavells the butcher and the local Co Op are local institutions which pride themselves in providing traditional high quality service and goods. Many travel from the Caernarfon area to the shops. As we continue our walk down Station Road we will visit many other local services and sights. The next page takes us on a circular tour of the village that takes us back to our local primary school.
