Week ending Feb. 6, 1874.

The Penisarwaun Board School was opened Monday the 2nd. Of February 1874 by David Prosser, late of Port Dinorwic. As many as 128 made their appearance the first day, and over 150 by the end of the week. About one half of their number had never been in school before. Owen Williams, the Pupil Teacher was also present during the week.
