The Wolf and the Moon

The wolf and the moon are curious chaps,
the people in town can vouch for that.
The wolf is small with coarse grey hair,
to protect and ward off the nipping air.
His howl bellows loudly in your ear,
It makes your stomach churn with fear.

The moon! Now what a handsome fellow is he.
His silvery light shines nightly down on me.
They think that they are the best of friends
But all of their decisions depend,
On arguing about this and that non stop,
So much it makes you jump and hop.
Other times they’re the best of mates,
It makes you think how they could ever hate.
They smile, they laugh and cheer and cheer,
And spread their laughter from far and near
They have silver stones that bring them luck,
Especially when you throw them up.
How much sillier can you get?
None have been as silly, as yet!
You want to know who’s as silly, you do??
I’ts the tortoise who plays the diggeridoo!
