We have just been informed by Gwynedd Council that the web filtering service, which restricts access to unsuitable websites, is not working at the present time. Your school therefore has no precautions to restrict pupils from accessing unsuitable websites.

 Schools can still gain access to the internet, but that access will not be filtered.

 I cannot give you any more information at this point, but once the problem is resolved, I shall inform you accordingly.
